“Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!”
— John 1:29
Since the beginning of time, God has spoken one truth: Sin requires a sacrifice. Discover the blood atonement that paid your debt in full.
Understand Why“I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.”
— Revelation 22:13
He is the Word who was with God and was God. All things were made through Him; without Him, nothing was made that has been made (John 1:1-3).
He is the finality of all things. History is moving toward His throne, where every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that He is Lord.
The Bible warns of a real adversary—Lucifer, the fallen star who became Satan. He is not a cartoon; he is the "god of this world" who seeks to blind minds from the light of the Gospel.
His ultimate goal is not just to tempt you, but to ensure you share his eternal fate. Knowing his own end is certain, he desires that you remain in your sins and join him forever in the Lake of Fire, separated from the love of God.
Even Jesus was tempted in the wilderness, showing us exactly how the adversary operates through the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life:
"Command that these stones be made bread."
Attempting to prioritize the temporal stomach over the eternal Word.
"All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me."
Offering a kingdom without a cross; power without the Father.
"Cast thyself down... for he shall give his angels charge concerning thee."
Twisting Scripture to dare God rather than trust Him.
The world tries to satisfy the soul with physical things, but the soul is eternal. No amount of temporal pleasure can nourish what was created for eternity.
God’s holiness cannot overlook sin. In His divine justice, the penalty for sin is death. But in His mercy, He allowed for a substitution.
Prior to the Cross, remission was granted through animal sacrifices. A lamb would die in place of the sinner. However, these sacrifices were temporary. They were a shadow of the Ultimate Sacrifice to come.
There are many religions, philosophies, and belief systems, but only one Savior. God did not offer humanity a way among many options; He provided the way of salvation.
— John 14:6
— 1 Corinthians 15:1-4
Jesus, the sinless Lamb, shed His blood to pay the legal debt for your sins.
The death was real. The debt was settled. The sacrifice was complete.
His resurrection proves that God accepted the blood sacrifice as full payment.
The story of the thief on the cross reminds us that salvation is not a reward for a life well-lived, but a gracious gift extended to a soul that places its trust in Christ.
Pinned to a cross, this criminal could do nothing for God. He had no time to change his life, get baptized, or perform a single good deed. He simply recognized his guilt and Jesus' holiness.
Jesus didn't ask for a list of his deeds. He didn't tell him it was "too late." Because the blood was about to be shed, the entry into Paradise was wide open for the believer.
One moment he was a condemned sinner; the next, a citizen of Heaven. This man is the ultimate proof that "It Is Finished." His salvation was based 100% on Christ, and 0% on himself.
At the Cross, a legal transaction was completed that altered the eternal destiny of everyone who believes. Christ, the Sinless, took the place of the sinner in a perfect substitution.
Every lying word, every hateful thought, every rebellious act was funneled into His cup of suffering.
He was despised and rejected by men, bearing the weight of our social and spiritual shame so we wouldn't have to.
"Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree." He became a curse for us to redeem us from the law's penalty.
He experienced physical death and the horror of separation from the Father ("My God, why hast thou forsaken me?").
We are not just "forgiven criminals"; we are clothed in the very righteousness of Jesus Christ Himself.
We receive the life that cannot die and the legal status of "Sons of God," heirs to His kingdom.
Instead of the curse, we inherit the promises of God—favor, peace, and spiritual abundance.
The war is over. Because the debt is paid, we have bold access to the throne of grace at any time.
“For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”
— 2 Corinthians 5:21
Jesus didn't just cover your sins. He removed them.
Every mistake and regret from your past is washed clean by His blood.
Your standing before God right now is based on His perfection, not yours.
Even the sins you haven't committed yet were paid for at the Cross.
“But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God.”
— Hebrews 10:12
It is critical to distinguish between salvation and rewards. Salvation is a free gift paid for by the blood of Christ. However, once you are saved, your service to God is recognized.
“For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; Every man's work shall be made manifest...”
— 1 Corinthians 3:11-13
The New Testament speaks of specific "Crowns" given for different aspects of faithful service:
While we are not saved by our works, we are motivated by love for the One who saved us to serve Him with all our heart.
If you could get to Heaven by being "good," then Jesus died for nothing. When you try to add your works—your kindness, your baptism, your religious efforts—to the Gospel, you are telling God that the blood of His Son wasn't enough.
“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.”
— Ephesians 2:8-9
Salvation is not a reward produced by self-righteous works or moral achievement, but a gift of grace for the guilty who place their full trust in the blood of the Lamb.
Eternal life is exactly that—eternal. If you could lose it, it was never eternal life to begin with. Our security is not based on our hold on God, but on His hold on us.
“In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise.”
— Ephesians 1:13
“And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.” — John 10:28
Saved by Grace, sealed by the Spirit, and called to a purpose that transcends this world.
Our primary directive is to herald the Truth: that Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again. It is the power of God unto salvation.
“I declare unto you the gospel... by which also ye are saved.” — 1 Cor 15:1-4
Building up fellow believers through sound doctrine and mutual encouragement, that the Body of Christ may grow in the knowledge of Him.
“Seek that ye may excel to the edifying of the church.” — 1 Cor 14:12
In all things, Christ is to have the preeminence. Every word, deed, and thought should reflect the glory of the One who redeemed us.
“That in all things he might have the preeminence.” — Colossians 1:18
The story ends with God making all things new. The Apostle John saw a vision of our eternal home—the New Jerusalem—descending out of heaven from God.
God Himself will dwell with us and wipe away every tear. No more death, mourning, or pain.
“And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away... And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.”
— Revelation 21:1,4
“Behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.” — Revelation 22:12
Are you trusting in your own efforts, or in the shed blood of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins?
“To him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness.” — Romans 4:5
“Surely I come quickly.”
He is making all things new. The time is short. Are you ready?
Share this truth today. — Revelation 22:20
